PADI Basic Mermaid
Discover the essential principles of mermaiding while honing your skills in a pool or a controlled water environment. The PADI Basic Mermaid™ course blends foundational knowledge with practical skill sessions, making it a fun introduction to the world of mermaid diving. You’ll explore the rich background and culture of mermaiding, learn key safety tips, and get familiar with the equipment basic water skills. To participate, you must be at least six years old, able to swim 25m/80ft without aids, float comfortably for at least 3 minutes, and be in good physical health. No previous snorkeling, skin diving, or freediving experience is necessary!

PADI Mermaid
The PADI Mermaid™ course offers an exciting opportunity to enhance your mermaiding skills through knowledge development and a minimum of two water skill sessions. This course your abilities beyond Basic Mermaid™, introducing dynamic skills that transform mermaiding into a unique underwater art. Note that Basic Mermaid is included in the PADI Mermaid course, so can dive right in without needing separate enrollment. To join, participants must be at least ten years old, swim at least 50m/160ft una, float comfortably for a minimum of 5 minutes, and be in good physical health No prior diving experience is necessary to start this entry-level course.

You'll discover essential open water mermaiding techniques and gain insights into the aquatic life you'll encounter, ensuring a safe and magical experience. To join, you must be at least 12 years old, hold a PADI Mermaid certification (or an equivalent from an accredited institution), and meet the swimming requirements.
